About Us
Eurocraft Marble was founded on Vancouver Island by Jeff Gibson in 1993. Before starting the business, Jeff honed his craft in Los Angeles, where he apprenticed in stonework and developed a deep appreciation for precision and artistry. When he brought his expertise to Vancouver Island, marble countertops were still a rarity, primarily found in luxury homes. His dedication to quality craftsmanship quickly set Eurocraft Marble apart, helping to introduce high-end natural stone surfaces to a broader market.
Over the years, Eurocraft Marble grew alongside the increasing demand for granite and quartz countertops. Homeowners and builders alike sought out Jeff’s expertise, recognizing his commitment to superior workmanship. For 25 years, he served the Greater Victoria community, earning a reputation for excellence before retiring. During his career, Jeff worked with and trained many skilled professionals—many of whom continue to shape the local stone industry today. Among them was his son, Andrew Gibson, who officially took over as Owner & Operator in 2018.
Andrew’s journey in the trade began at a young age, apprenticing under his father. He learned the foundational skills of the industry, from wood templating to manual sawing, instilling in him a meticulous eye for detail. As he took on a leadership role, Andrew spearheaded Eurocraft Marble’s transition from manual to digital fabrication. This modernization improved precision, efficiency, and production capacity, allowing the company to expand into the commercial market while maintaining its commitment to top-tier craftsmanship.
Today, Eurocraft Marble continues to provide high-quality, custom stonework for residential homeowners while also taking on large-scale commercial fabrication projects. Under Andrew’s leadership, the company remains dedicated to innovation, service, and the timeless beauty of natural stone.
